IMAGES ---
IMAGES should preferably be at 1024x768
resolution, however 800x600 is accepted as the minumum.
(Larger or 'off-scale' (such as widescreen) images are also ok, as I will
resize them for addition.)
CREDITS must be on any image submitted: 'Mesh by blahblah,
Image by BlahBlah' etc...
FILESIZE of the image must be reasonable (if sending via
email) JPG is preffered.
(dont send a 3MB bitmap image when it could be JPG'd down to less than
500kb!)
QUALITY of the image is up to you - if you think its worthy
of additon, send it!
(Dont be put off by some of the super-impressive artwork - we're not all
that good! *g*)
note: Unless specified, the 'startrekaustralia.com'
watermark will be added to each image
--- MESHES ---
MESHES are a tricky thing, but heres a breif rundown of how
to pack-n-send...
TEXTURES - Firstly, and most importantly, make sure there
are NO MISSING TEXTURES!
CREDITS text file must also be added, eg: 'Mesh by
BlahBlah', (and any other credits if needed)
PREVIEW IMAGE would be appreciated, so I know what the mesh
looks like. A single perspective view is fine.
ZIP (using WinZip or WinRar) your final product up,
including MESH, TEXTURES, TEXT FILE and PREVIEW IMAGE.
FORMAT! Dont forget to let me know what format the mesh is
for - 3D STUDIO MAX (max), LIGHTWAVE (lwo) etc...
note: Each MESH added will be
'formatted' for STAR TREK AUSTRALIA.com. This means that I will:
(1) Add a COMPOSITE BACKGROUND material editor slot.
(2) Genericise the WARP GLOWS to fit with the other meshes available here -
where applicable.
(3) Create a .3DS version for addition with any .MAX mesh uploaded. |
